Know Your Customer

Effective Date: 31/03/2025

Tugabet, operated by Titanzenith Ventures Limitada, is committed to adhering to “Know Your Customer” (KYC) principles to prevent financial crimes, including money laundering, through thorough client identification and due diligence. This KYC Policy outlines the procedures for verifying the identity and location of users on tugabet.com (hereinafter “the Website”).

Tugabet reserves the right to request KYC documentation at any time to confirm a user’s identity and location. We may restrict services, payments, or withdrawals until identity is adequately verified or for any other reason at our sole discretion, in accordance with applicable legal frameworks. Our risk-based approach includes rigorous due diligence and ongoing monitoring of all clients, customers, and transactions.

We employ three levels of due diligence based on risk, transaction type, and customer profile:

  1. Simplified Due Diligence (SDD): Applied to low-risk transactions that fall below specific thresholds.
  2. Customer Due Diligence (CDD): The standard verification process used in most cases for identity confirmation.
  3. Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): Implemented for high-risk customers, large transactions, or special circumstances.

1. KYC Documentation and Procedures

1.1. Minimum Identification Data

The following information is required for verification:

  1. Full name
  2. Date of birth
  3. Permanent residential address
  4. Identification number

1.2. Primary Identification Documents

Users may be required to submit:

  1. A valid passport or national ID card
  2. A document verifying the current permanent residential address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement) not older than 6 months

1.3. Additional Identification Documents

In certain cases, Tugabet may request:

  1. Supplementary identification (e.g., driver’s license, military ID)
  2. A clear photo of the user holding their open passport next to their face
  3. A photo of the front of the bank card used for deposits (showing the first 5 digits, last 4 digits, owner’s name, and expiry date)

1.4. Reasons for Document Rejection

Documents may be rejected for the following reasons:

  1. Mismatch between the name or address on documents and the account details
  2. Illegible or unclear documents or copies
  3. Damaged documents
  4. Documents that do not verify the user’s age, name, or other required information
  5. Unreadable documents
  6. Submission of unacceptable documents (e.g., documents not listed as valid for ID verification or irrelevant items like a mail envelope instead of a utility bill)
  7. Any other reason deemed appropriate by Tugabet’s employees or contractors

1.5. Document Review Process

Upon submission of documents, users will receive a “Pending Approval” status, and the documents will be forwarded to our KYC Team for review. Within 48 hours, the team will evaluate the documents and notify the user via email with one of the following outcomes:

  1. Approved
  2. Rejected
  3. Additional information required (with no change to the “Pending Approval” status)

1.6. Pending Approval Status

Users with a “Pending Approval” status may continue using the platform but are restricted from completing withdrawals until full verification is achieved.

1.7. Outcome of KYC Review

Following document analysis, Tugabet will make a final decision.
